✨ About the Project

Through the Erasmus+ 2024-KA131 project, VEVU continued strengthening its internationalisation process by providing meaningful international opportunities for students and staff.

The project successfully implemented 40 outgoing mobilities, supported cooperation with 25 partner organisations from 20 countries, established 13 new higher education partnerships, and contributed to the development of an open, internationally connected and internationally recognised higher education institution.

Through mobility activities, international cooperation, the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Artificial Intelligence in Education and Research, and two International Staff Week events, the project generated a significant impact on participants, partner institutions and the wider academic community.

🌍 Project Impacts

👩‍🎓 Students – Learning Beyond Borders

A total of 19 outgoing student mobilities were implemented, including:

• 18 study mobilities (3 long term+ 15 BIPs)
• 1 traineeship mobility
• 15 students participating in Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs)

These experiences enabled students to:

• 🎓 strengthen academic and professional competences
• 🌍 gain international and intercultural experience
• 💻 develop digital skills and adaptability
• 🗣 improve language and communication skills
• 🤝 work in international and interdisciplinary environments

Particular benefits were achieved through BIP activities covering topics such as:

• rehabilitation and neurological care
• clinical reasoning in physiotherapy
• contemporary approaches to lower back pain treatment
• talent attraction and employer branding

The project contributed to increasing students’ confidence, independence, employability and readiness for an increasingly international labour market.

👨‍🏫 Staff – Professional Growth and Knowledge Exchange

The project supported 21 outgoing staff mobilities, including:

• 17 staff training mobilities
• 4 teaching mobilities

Through teaching assignments, training activities and job shadowing, staff developed expertise in:

• innovative teaching methodologies
• ICT and AI tools in education
• international cooperation and Erasmus+ project management
• academic and administrative processes
• student services and institutional management
• sustainability practices in higher education

The mobility experience enabled staff to exchange good practices with international colleagues and transfer newly acquired knowledge into everyday teaching, administrative and organisational activities at VEVU.

🤖 Blended Intensive Programme – Artificial Intelligence in Education and Research

One of the most valuable achievements of the project was the implementation of the BIP “Artificial Intelligence in Education and Research.”

The programme brought together:

• 13 incoming staff training mobilities
• 3 incoming teaching mobilities
• participants from partner institutions across Europe

The BIP promoted:

• international cooperation
• interdisciplinary learning
• AI applications in education and research
• digital transformation
• exchange of innovative practices

The programme further strengthened VEVU’s experience in organising international educational activities and enhanced internationalisation at home.
