PROJECT OUTCOMES:
The project was successfully implemented, involving a total of 38 participants (compared to the 28 initially planned), thus exceeding the target and ensuring a significant increase in mobilities. The total budget used amounted to €67,511.00, representing 98.64% of the approved funding. The project covered different mobility activities, including student study mobilities (18 instead of the 2 originally foreseen, due to the increased interest in innovative Blended Intensive Programmes – BIPs), staff mobilities for training and teaching purposes, as well as innovative Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs). Although the number of traineeship mobilities was lower than anticipated (2 instead of 4) for the first time within the project framework, a long-term mobility for a 12-month traineeship was successfully implemented as a post-graduation Student Mobility for Traineeships (SMT). This pioneering implementation is expected to generate positive effects for future students with similar interests, encouraging wider participation in extended traineeship opportunities.”. The project nonetheless facilitated a substantial exchange of knowledge, skills, and best practices at the international level. In total, 20 partner organisations were involved, including 2 non-higher education institutions where both students and staff carried out mobilities aimed at enhancing their professional competences. Furthermore, the project enabled the establishment of new mobilities with 3 higher education institutions in the Czech Republic, Spain, and Portugal, thereby broadening the existing cooperation network. Within the project framework, an International Staff Weeks 2024and 2025 was also organised, welcoming incoming staff mobilities from partner institutions, which further reinforced international collaboration. The project had a strong impact on the development of students’ and staff competences. Its results were actively disseminated during Erasmus+ Days 2024, where the project’s achievements and impact were presented to all relevant stakeholders.

Project 2023-KA131 – Transformation through Mobility
✨ About the Project
Through the Erasmus+ 2023-KA131 project, VEVU offered students and staff invaluable experiences, enabling 70+ mobilities in 19 countries.
The results clearly show that mobility has a powerful impact on personal, professional, and institutional development, while also strengthening international cooperation.
👩🎓 Students – Experiences that Shape the Future
38 outgoing and 40+ incoming mobilities gave students the opportunity to study and work in an international environment.
-
40 Incoming students joined Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) at VEVU, gaining expertise in digitalisation, sustainability, and artificial intelligence, while building intercultural competences and exploring Croatian culture and the Slavonia region.
-
20 Outgoing students completed short-term and long-term mobilities in France, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, and beyond, developing skills in physiotherapy, economics, management, and social sciences.
-
Long-term traineeships even led to continued partnerships and employment with international institutions – the strongest proof of the Erasmus+ experience value.
-
👨🏫 Staff – Knowledge and Partnerships without Borders
Mobilities enabled both teaching and administrative staff to upgrade their skills through job shadowing, Erasmus staff training, and teaching activities across Europe (Malta, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia).
