Veleučilište „Lavoslav Ružička“ u Vukovaru (VEVU) uspješno je provelo Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) pod nazivom „Smart University, Smart Campus II“, koji se održao u razdoblju od 28. travnja do 16. svibnja 2025. godine.

Program je okupio 35 studenata i stučnjake predavače iz osam zemaljaPoljske, Njemačke, Španjolske, Bosne i Hercegovine, Albanije, Finske, Ukrajine i Srbije, uz domaće sudionike iz Hrvatske. Cilj programa bio je promicati međunarodnu suradnju, razmjenu znanja i razvoj digitalnih kompetencija studenata kroz inovativne metode poučavanja i interdisciplinarni pristup.

📚 BIP program sastojao se od online i onsite dijela.
U virtualnom dijelu studenti su pohađali predavanja i radionice na teme:

  • Smart University, Smart Campus – prof. Bojana Ostojić (VSPEP, Srbija)

  • Trajectory Anonymisation for Smart and Safe Cities – prof. Gabriele Gühring (Esslingen University, Njemačka)

  • Sustainable Development of the University Ecosystem – prof. Lyudmila Hanushchak Yefimenko (KNUTD, Ukrajina)

  • AI-Enhanced Case-Based Learning – prof. Jaakko Kujala (University of Oulu, Finska)

📍 Tijekom onsite dijela programa u Vukovaru, sudionici su sudjelovali u nizu aktivnosti – od svečanog otvaranja i upisa sudionika, preko sportskih događanja i društvenih aktivnosti, do stručnih predavanja i radionica na temu umjetne inteligencije, digitalne transformacije i kibernetičke sigurnosti.

Posebno mjesto u programu zauzeo je VEVU International Partner HEIs Fair, koji je okupio predstavnike visokoobrazovnih institucija sudionika BIP programa, ali i partnere iz drugih Erasmus+ projekata, čime je dodatno potaknuto međunarodno umrežavanje i razmjena iskustava između institucija iz cijele Europe.

Stručni dio tijekom fizičkog boravka na programu u Vukovaru obogatili su ugledni predavači:

Uz stručne sadržaje, sudionici su kroz izlet „Get to Know Slavonia“ imali priliku upoznati kulturnu i povijesnu baštinu Vukovara i okolice.

Program je zaključen završnom evaluacijom i predstavljanjem rezultata, pri čemu su studenti prezentirali svoja postignuća i iskustva stečena tijekom programa.

Ovaj BIP još je jednom potvrdio predanost VEVU-a međunarodnoj suradnji, digitalnoj transformaciji obrazovanja i razvoju suvremenih oblika učenja u okviru Erasmus+ programa.

We are excited to announce the VEVU BIP Program: Smart University-Smart Campus II, a unique opportunity for students from our Erasmus+ partner institutions to participate in an innovative, interdisciplinary program focusing on sustainability, smart technologies, and inclusive design in higher education.

Program Focus: The Smart University-Smart Campus II BIP program aims to raise awareness about sustainability within the academic community and apply cutting-edge technologies to improve university infrastructure, services, and the overall student experience. The program will explore:

  • Smart Campus Concepts: Digital transformation of universities to foster sustainable environments.

  • IoT, AI, and Sustainable Practices: How to utilize emerging technologies to optimize campus operations.

  • Inclusive Solutions: Designing smart campuses that are accessible to all students, including those with disabilities and from marginalized groups.

Program Structure:

  1. Component I: Online Sessions

    • Duration: 1 week

    • Activities: Webinars, workshops, discussion groups

    • Assignments: Team projects focusing on smart, sustainable technologies

  2. Component II: Physical Mobility Phase

    • Duration: 5 days

    • Activities:

      • Interactive workshops

      • Study visits to smart, energy-efficient buildings

      • IoT device testing and campus scenario simulations

      • Guest lecturers from experts in IT, sustainable building management, and digital transformation in business, law, and health

    • Final Presentations/Competition (Optional)

  • Covered by VEVU: Participant materials, equipment usage, coffee breaks, and costs related to cultural activities during the physical mobility phase

  • Development of practical skills in sustainability, IoT, artificial intelligence, and inclusive design
  • Interdisciplinary approach connecting economics, law, and healthcare
  • Increased visibility of VEVU and strengthened Erasmus+ partnerships
