On September 13, 2023, our University celebrated its eighteen years of operation with a formal session of the University Council held in its premises. This was an opportunity to reminisce about the process of successful development and to express gratitude to those whose support and work contributed to making the University “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar one of the most successful in Croatia today.

As a token of appreciation, awards and recognitions were presented to deserving employees, officials, external associates, as well as partners whose dedicated work, support, and cooperation marked the past eighteen years of successful operations.

The Golden Bust of Lavoslav Ružička was awarded to Prof. Josip Vrbošić, Ph.D., and Prof. Dario Đerđa, full professor with tenure. The Large Golden Plaque of the University, featuring “Lavoslav Ružička”, was awarded to Assist. Prof. Mislav Balković, prof. of professional studies, and Nikola Vincetić, M. A. in History and Pedagogy. The Small Golden Plaque of the University, featuring “Lavoslav Ružička”, was awarded to Vukovar-Srijem County and the Croatian National Council in the Republic of Serbia.

We would like to thank everyone who celebrated the Day of the University and this significant anniversary with us. Congratulations to the awardees, and we look forward to the next celebration in the new premises of the University in the “Radnički dom” building in Borovo Naselje.
