The Croatian Academic Sports Federation marked the most successful academic year in the history of student sport with a ceremonial presentation of annual awards to the best individuals and teams. The grand gala evening “Unisport Stars” was held in the beautiful setting of Zagreb’s Westin Hotel, attended by numerous representatives of the academic community, state institutions, and public and sports life.

Those gathered were addressed by Haris Pavletić, President of HASS and President of the European University Sports Association, who in an emotional speech congratulated the award recipients and thanked everyone who has contributed to student sport consistently demonstrating its quality and importance in social life year after year.

A special recognition for contribution to the development and promotion of student sport was awarded to our VEVU for the “UniSport H2O” project, whose highlight was the organization of the 2025 European Universities Water Polo Championship “EUSA Vukovar”.
