The twentieth Science Festival in the Republic of Croatia was held from April 24th to 29th, 2023. This year’s theme was Nature and Society, which participants interpreted in different ways by creating a diverse, interesting, and fun program. The aim of this year’s Science Festival was to bring scientific topics closer and promote them, and to establish a dialogue between science and the public to emphasize the importance and omnipresence of science.
At our College, the Science Festival started on April 24th, 2023, with a lecture titled “Agrotourism as a possibility of returning to nature”, held by Assistant Professor Sandra Mrvica Mađarac, college professor, and a workshop titled “Truths and Lies – How Does a Polygraph Work?” conducted by Erna Davidović Cvetko, PhD, senior lecturer. On the third day of the Festival, April 26th, 2023, Erna Davidović Cvetko, PhD, senior lecturer, held a workshop on “Elephant Toothpaste”. We concluded the Festival on April 28th, 2023, with a lecture “Circular Economy and Global Competitiveness”, held by Assistant Professor Sanja Gongeta, college professor.
