The seventh international scientific-professional student conference SKEI 2022 entitled “Higher Education During the Pandemic” was held on May 12, 2022 in Vukovar under the auspices of the Embassy of the State of Israel.

The opening of the conference was held on the premises of Eltz Castle – City Museum in Vukovar, and the plenary lecture “Language of Innovation – Lessons from Israel” was held by Dr. sc. Nir Tsuk, Israeli expert in the field of innovation, social capital and entrepreneurship.

The conference sessions were attended by students and professors and mentors from various universities and faculties from Croatia and abroad. This year, the main goal of the conference was to connect and cooperate students and professors with partner institutions and promote communication, knowledge and skills with an emphasis on improving students whose work will contribute to improving research, exchange of ideas and international networking.

The conference was an opportunity to exchange experiences, new knowledge and analysis in education process in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the exhibited works cover thematic areas: management and entrepreneurship, marketing, trade, informatics, law, economics and finance, digitalization, biomedicine and health.

The “Lavoslav Ružička” College in Vukovar was actively involved in the celebration of the European Year of Youth by the organization VII. international scientific-professional student conference SKEI 2022 and Vukovar and Vukovar Polytechnic are registered on the map # EYY2022 activities throughout the European Union, which has made it visible outside the Republic of Croatia.

The conference, which is recognized as an important European event, makes us proud and justifies all the efforts invested in its realization. The conference was held in cooperation with the “Lavoslav Ružička” College in Vukovar with partner institutions: University / University “VITEZ” Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, College of Modern Business – MBS, Republic of Serbia, University of Novo Mesto, Republic of Slovenia, BLC Banja Luka College, Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina and College of Finance and Accounting FINra, Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The next SKEI conference has been announced for 2023 in Travnik.
