Goran Miličević, the CEO of Vupik plus d.o.o., together with Ivan Begović, a member of the Vupik plus management, and Sanja Maljak, Head of Human Resources and our alumna, signed a cooperation agreement with the dean of the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar. The agreement aims to strengthen support for the projects of the University VEVU and provide professional internships for students. The University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” is committed to educating highly skilled professionals in the fields of biomedicine, healthcare, and social sciences. These professionals acquire the necessary knowledge and skills through an integrated system of theoretical and applied knowledge, enabling them to meet the needs of the economy and the community after completing their education. On the other hand, Vupik plus is engaged in agricultural production through five production units: arable and vegetable farming, pig farming, cattle farming, viticulture, and winemaking, along with a transshipment port and related services. Therefore, the University VEVU and Vupik plus d.o.o. have agreed to develop cooperation based on the mutual interests of both parties, particularly in the following areas:
- organizing workshops, conferences, and educational programs;
- activities focused on prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation;
- collaboration on joint projects funded by the EU or other domestic and/or international institutions and organizations;
- utilizing the human resources of participants to provide expert opinions;
- and the practical work of the University VEVU students in Vupik plus.

Through joint projects with the University VEVU and the implementation of student internships in Vupik plus, we will ensure the transfer of knowledge to young people, and I hope that some of them will be our future employees.” emphasized Goran Miličević.
The dean of the University VEVU expressed gratitude to Vupik plus for their ongoing support and added: “Our University is continuously developing and growing, all through the joint synergy and support of our founders and numerous partners who assist us in implementing projects, especially internships for our students. We see Vukovar as the student city of the future, and with this idea as our guiding principle, we plan to further develop our study programs and eventually launch new studies because currently, about 1.000 students are studying at the University VEVU. The shared synergy with the economy gives us the guarantee and confidence that in the future, we will provide our students with high-quality education and theoretical and practical knowledge crucial for career development. By moving to new premises, the University VEVU will become one of the best-equipped higher education institutions in Croatia, providing students with even better working and educational conditions.”
