Last week, our University continued its collaboration in the Erasmus+ field with a new Erasmus+ partner from Bosnia and Herzegovina – the College of Finance and Accounting (FINra) in Tuzla. After the initial signing of the cooperation agreement in November of last year, we have now realized our first Erasmus+ guest lecture. Borislav Marušić, Ph.D., college prof., the Chair of the Department of Common Subjects, was the first lecturer within the Erasmus+ program to visit this higher education institution and delivered a series of lectures on business English and personal finance.

The College of Finance and Accounting (FINra) in Tuzla was established in 2016 by the educational consulting company FINconsult from Tuzla, which has educated over 2200 candidates for certified accountants and authorized auditors over the past 18 years. The current study programs include Finance and Accounting Studies and Information Technology Studies. There are plans to open additional study programs, and the institution has announced its transformation into a university.

This established contact represents an additional step for our University towards internationalization, and we are planning future activities related to the implementation of international scientific and professional projects, as well as student exchanges within the Business Department under the Erasmus+ program.
