On Thursday, October 12, 2023, the new digital student ID, the so-called “Iksica”, was presented to students of the University “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar. The students were addressed by the dean of the University, Assist. Prof. Željko Sudarić, PhD, and Adela Jelinek Bišćan, Sales Sector Director at AKD d.o.o., who emphasized in their speeches that the students of the University will be among the first to have access to the new digital student ID. They also highlighted the efforts that the University is making towards business digitalization and the general improvement of the student standard. The Vice Dean for Teaching and Students, Ivan Belaj, senior lecturer, informed the students about the rights and obligations related to possessing a student ID, the possibilities that the digital student ID will offer, and the option to activate the eIDCard at the University.
