At the invitation of the European Commission, a representative of our University, Vice-Dean for Professional and Scientific Research and International Cooperation, Assis. Prof. Sanja Gongeta, PhD, prof. of professional studies, participated in the international NEO-ICP-ENFP meeting, held on 26-27 January 2026 in Brussels, within the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 programme.
On the first day of the event, an International Mobility Seminar was held, dedicated to current topics in the management of student and staff mobility, the broader impact of international mobility, and the development of mobility frameworks beyond the Erasmus+ programme. Representatives of the European Commission, the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), national Erasmus+ offices, higher education institutions, and international networks took part in the seminar. During the event, our Vice-Dean presented the successful management of Erasmus+ funds at our University VEVU.
The University’s participation in this international event is the result of recognized good practice in the field of internationalization, as well as continuous high-quality work and successful cooperation among all involved stakeholders.
The invitation from the European Commission represents a significant recognition of the excellence of the University’s work, as well as confirmation of its growing visibility and reputation within the European higher education area.
