At the Center for Lifelong Learning of the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar, the non-formal learning program “Functional Training Step by Step” has successfully concluded.

The program lasted from December 2023 until April 2024 and consisted of lectures and exercises totaling 26 instructional hours. The aim of the program was to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for creating specific functional training programs. Fourteen participants successfully completed the program, mastering the learning outcomes: how to design functional training with specific goals for various sports activities, identify and correct errors in exercise execution, and adjust exercises and loads according to user abilities.

The program began at the old VEVU address and concluded in the new facilities at the new address in Radnički dom at Blage Zadre 2.
