Through the collaboration between our College and the Department of Emergency Medicine of Vukovar-Srijem County, an education was held on April 25^th 2023, for our employees (administrative staff, vice deans, and department heads) to deepen their acquired knowledge and learn new skills in handling emergency situations before the arrival of emergency medical services. In order for our staff to react quickly and effectively in emergency situations, they went through theoretical lectures and practical exercises. The lectures for the participants were held by Assistant Professor Jelena Kovačević, and the practical training part was conducted under the supervision of national instructors for basic life support measures, Mario Matić and Tomislav Prša, and Assistant Professor Jelena Kovačević. The education was held to the satisfaction of both parties, and we believe that this education is only the beginning of a series of education programs that the Department of Emergency Medicine of Vukovar-Srijem County will hold at our College.
