The event Days of Jobs in Tourism is a joint project of the Croatian Employment Service, the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports with partners the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, the Croatian Chamber of Crafts, the Croatian Employers’ Association and the Association of Employers in the Hotel Industry. The project goal is to connect employers in tourism with unemployed people, students of final years of secondary vocational schools and universities for the purpose of employment in the upcoming summer tourist season.

The fifth event in a row was held on January 25^th 2023 in the Gradski vrt sports hall in Osijek. Around 60 employers gathered on the occasion, who after the opening ceremony had the opportunity to present the open job positions for the 2023 season and connect with interested people who want to work and develop a career in tourism.

The Croatian Employment Service, Regional Office Vukovar, conducted CV writing workshop for about 30 students of administrative and business studies and physiotherapy at the College of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar. Students received all the necessary information about the event itself and instructions on how to present themselves to the employer through CV. In the second part of the workshop, students created their CVs with the help of employees of the Career Information and Counseling Center (CISOK) of the Croatian Employment Service, PU Vukovar, in order to prepare for interviews with employers at the event.
