The University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar is organizing Career and Open Door Days from May 13^th to May 17^th, 2024.

The aim of the planned activities is to present high school students as future university students and other interested members of the public with the university’s study programs and its overall activities. Current students will have the opportunity to meet potential employers, learn about the key knowledge and skills required for employment, and familiarize themselves with labor market trends and the experiences of successful guest speakers and our alumni.

The presentation of professional study programs and the university’s work is scheduled for Monday, May 13^th, 2024. High school students, graduates, and prospective students, as well as other interested parties, will learn about our study programs and the conditions for studying and living at VEVU.

On Tuesday, May 14^th, Ms. Ana Soldo, President of the Croatian Association of Managers and Entrepreneurs (CROMA) and Subregional Director of DS Smith Packaging, will deliver a lecture titled “The Path to Success” to the students.

Employers and university partners will present themselves to students on Wednesday, May 15^th, at the Job Fair, and the Career Development Center at VEVU will hold a workshop on resume writing.

On Thursday, May 16^th, successful alumni of VEVU will share their experiences of studying and working after graduation.

The end of the week is planned for a lecture and discussion on the topic “Success Doesn’t Just Happen, It’s Created!” with Mr. Zlatko Dalić, the coach of the Croatian national football team.
