On March 7, 2023, at the College “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the president of the Water polo Club Vukovar, Ivica Šuvak, M.D. and the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Željko Sudarić, PhD., College professor. The signing ceremony was attended by the Vice president of the club, Branislav Hegeduš, as well as the president of the Sports Association of the students of the College “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar, Drazen Pejić, senior lecturer.

The agreement will establish cooperation between the College and the Water Polo Club, which will work together on projects of common interests, such as the organization of tournaments, workshops, conferences, and various educational programs. Future activities will be focused on prevention, diagnostics and rehabilitation, exchange of professional knowledge and use of common human resource potentials.

Thanks to this cooperation, the students of the College will be able to carry out their professional practice at the Water Polo Club Vukovar and thereby enrich their theoretical knowledge acquired at the College with specific practical skills acquired in real situations.

At the same time, with this agreement begins preparations for the upcoming biggest event in the history of the College, which is the EUSA European Student Water Polo Championship, Vukovar 2025. The Water Polo Club Vukovar with its professional and material resources will be of exceptional importance in the preparation and organization of this spectacular competition, where we expect more than twenty national student teams from all over Europe!
