The Student Sports Association of the University of the Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar organized the 19^th traditional Student Cross-Country Race on October 28, 2024. As in previous years, the race took place in the “Adica” forest park in Vukovar, with around one hundred students from the physiotherapy, commerce, and administration programs participating.

The races were held in two categories: women (1650 meters) and men (3000 meters). The results for each category were as follows:

Women

1. Antea Ercegović – 8,41
2. Anđela Marušić – 8,51
3. Melani Jerković – 8,52

Men

1. Gabrijel Flanjak – 12,10
2. Fran Lukić – 12,32
3. Đorđe Šalajić – 12,47

Thanks to their times in the Adica cross-country race, all students who placed first, second, and third in their categories qualified to participate in the National Student Cross-Country Championship, which will take place in the spring of 2025 in Zagreb.

Medals and certificates for the top three places in both the men’s and women’s categories were awarded by Stjepan Jelica, mag. physioth., senior lecturer, and Marko Kunac, mag. cin., lecturer. Dražen Pejić, mag. cin., senior lecturer and SUSVEVU president, also participated in organizing the Student Cross-Country Race.
