On Thursday, November 23, 2023, the 3^rd Conference on Sports Medicine and the 9^th International Scientific and Professional Conference “Physiotherapy in Sports, Recreation, and Wellness” took place at the premises of the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb. The event was organized by the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb and the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar. The conference aimed to showcase innovations in the field of athlete and recreational rehabilitation, introduce new guidelines in injury prevention, and define how to ensure a safer environment for both professional and recreational athletes. The latest research and achievements were presented by 48 top experts and experienced practitioners in the field of sports medicine and physiotherapy. In addition to professors from the Department of Health Studies as conference presenters, second-year students of the Preventive Physiotherapy graduate program also attended the lectures.
