The constitutive session of the Student Council of the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar was held on April 24, 2026. The session took place on the University premises and via Microsoft Teams, and was attended by Assist. Prof. dr.sc. Željko Sudarić, Dean; Assist. Prof. dr. sc. Sanja Gongeta, Vice Dean for Professional and Scientific Research and International Cooperation; Ivan Belaj, mag. iur., senior lecturer, Vice Dean for Teaching and Students; Duško Simić, mag. iur., secretary of the University, and students Ivan Vidović, Ana Lovrić, Hana Guberac, Marija Topčić, and Marko Barukčić.

Following introductory remarks by Vice Dean Ivan Belaj on the results of the student elections, students were informed about the rights and responsibilities of Student Council members. The President of the Student Council and student representatives to the University Council were then elected.

Hana Guberac was elected as the new President of the Student Council. In addition, Hana Guberac, Ivan Vidović, and Marija Topčić will represent students in the University VEVU Council.
