The University of Applied Sciences in Vukovar “Lavoslav Ružička” once again demonstrated its commitment to combining academic excellence with a healthy and active lifestyle. On 19 May 2026, the University hosted its traditional Sports Day, bringing together around 200 enthusiastic students, academic staff, and members of the professional support staff for a day of competition and recreation.

Participants competed in a diverse programme featuring six sports disciplines: table tennis, tennis, badminton, volleyball, futsal, and bowling. Alongside the official tournaments, one of the highlights of the day was the friendly football match between the women’s student team and the academic staff team. After an exciting contest, the experience of the lecturers ultimately proved decisive, much to the delight of the spectators.

Congratulations to all medal winners, as well as to everyone who took part and contributed to the success of this fantastic sporting event, promoting an active lifestyle and strengthening the sense of community at the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar.
