On March 19, 2024, at the new building and address of the University VEVU, a contract was signed for the construction of a student restaurant, kitchen, and café bar. The contract was signed by the Dean of the University, Assit. Prof. dr. sc. Željko Sudarić, prof. of profess. stud., and Ivan Dumančić, the director of the company IVER Ltd. from Osijek. The signing ceremony was attended by Ivica Šušak, State Secretary at the Ministry of Science and Education, Damir Dekanić, the County Prefect of Vukovar-Srijem County, Nikola Mažar, a member of the Croatian Parliament, and Ljiljana Blažević, PhD, the President of the Fund for the Reconstruction and Development of the City of Vukovar. The construction of the student restaurant is yet another proof and confirmation of the University’s efforts to meet all the needs of its students and thus provide them with an excellent student standard and a higher quality of student life.

Financial resources totaling 1.5 million euros have been secured within the framework of the Capital Investment Program of Public Institutions in the City of Vukovar, based on the contract signed with the Fund for the Reconstruction and Development of the City of Vukovar.
