We are proud to announce that our University of Applied Sciences successfully participated again this year as a co-organizer of the Science Festival, which took place across the Republic of Croatia from May 5 to 10, 2025.
In collaboration with the Vukovar Gymnasium, the Vučedol Culture Museum, and the Vukovar City Museum, our city once again shone as a hub for science popularization. As Henry Ford once said: “Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.”
The overarching theme of this year’s Science Festival was Networks, symbolizing the connection of ideas, people, and knowledge. Networks serve as a metaphor for collaboration and movement, celebrating science as the force that unites us. “We are all caught in an inescapable network of mutuality,” words by Martin Luther King Jr., which guided us throughout this inspiring week.
At the University, visitors had the opportunity to explore poster presentations dedicated to neural, legal, health, and European networks. On the first floor of the University, every day from 8:00 to 19:00 o’clock, the poster presentations were showcased by our staff.
The festival attracted numerous visitors who, together with us, wove a network of knowledge, exploring the connection between science and everyday life.
We would like to thank everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this year’s Science Festival.
See you next year!
