The 14^th International Scientific and Professional Conference “Development of Public Administration” was held this year on May 23–24 in Šibenik, co-organized by the Šibenik University of Applied Sciences and the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar.

The conference partners were the Faculty of Law at the University of Rijeka (Croatia), the State School of Public Administration (Croatia), the Faculty of State and European Studies, Nova Univerza (Slovenia), and the Faculty of Sociology and Law, National Technical University “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (Ukraine).

This year’s conference was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration of the Republic of Croatia and gathered 150 participants from more than ten countries with the aim of exchanging knowledge, experiences, and research focused on the modernization and improvement of public administration.

The central theme of the conference “Public Administration 2.0 – A Look Into the Future” focused on exploring new governance models, innovations in the organization of public services, and the application of new technologies to improve the quality of services for citizens.

A total of 65 scientific and professional papers were presented at the conference, which, following a peer-review process, have been published in the Conference Proceedings.
