The University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar proudly presents its new handbook, “Environmental Law Through the Lens of the Environmental Protection Act”, written in collaboration by our faculty member Assist. Prof. Dr. Sanja Gongeta, prof. of profess. stud., and external lecturers Domagoj Rožac, univ. mag. iur., and Filip Miličić, mag. iur.

Designed as an educational resource for Public Administration students, the handbook provides a structured and practical overview of environmental protection legislation. With clear explanations of legal concepts and real-world examples, students will find it easier to grasp the material, with a particular focus on both European and national legislation.

Following a step-by-step approach, the handbook not only prepares students for their Environmental Law course exam but also encourages the development of competencies necessary for working in administrative bodies and institutions related to environmental protection. Each chapter concludes with key takeaways and review questions, facilitating knowledge retention.

The textbook is available in electronic format on the University’s VEVU website, promoting sustainability and broader knowledge accessibility.
