In the conference hall of the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar, a total of 121 students were ceremoniously promoted. This marked the 30th graduation ceremony for Bachelors in Physiotherapy, Public Administration, and Economics, as well as the 9th graduation ceremony for Masters in Physiotherapy. With this ceremony, the University of Applied Sciences has contributed more than three thousand graduates to the labor market since its founding, all of whom have completed one of its three study programs.
In his opening speech, Dean Assist. Prof. Željko Sudarić, PhD, prof. of professional studies, emphasized that the university’s students and alumni are the best ambassadors of the institution, as well as of the city of Vukovar and the country, both domestically and across Europe. He extended his congratulations to the graduates and their parents and highlighted that relocating to the new building has opened up new opportunities and growth plans, including improvements to student standards—one of the key goals since the university’s inception.
With each passing day, the University of Applied Sciences continues to advance, offering new opportunities to its students and moving one step closer to achieving its main goal, mission, and vision: making Vukovar a recognized university city known for highly educated young professionals ready to meet any business challenge.
