On 16 April 2026, the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar successfully hosted an educational lecture entitled “From Hive to Customer – How to More Successfully Promote and Sell Beekeeping Products with the Help of Artificial Intelligence”, intended for beekeepers, family farms, and small producers.

The lecture was organized by the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar, the “Vukovar ’91” Beekeepers Association, and the Student Entrepreneurship Incubator – VUPI. The strong interest and excellent attendance confirmed how relevant and important the topics of digital marketing and artificial intelligence have become for the development of small producers and the local economy.

Through a practical workshop, participants had the opportunity to explore concrete ways of using AI tools for product promotion, creating content for social media, developing visual identity, improving online communication with customers, and strengthening the recognition of their own brands.

The lecture was delivered by Zvonimir Filipović, Doctor of Economic Sciences, senior lecturer, and Ivan Kunac, mag. educ. phys. et. inf., senior lecturer, who demonstrated through practical examples how modern technologies can support small producers in their everyday business activities.

We are especially pleased by the large number of participants, their active involvement in the workshop, and the positive feedback received after the lecture. Due to the strong interest shown, we plan to continue these activities in the autumn through new workshops and educational events related to artificial intelligence, digital tools, and modern approaches to product promotion and sales.

We would like to thank all participants for attending and look forward to future meetings and new educational opportunities.
