The seventh session of the Croatian Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences was held at the RIT Croatia campus in Zagreb. On October 10, 2024, representatives from universities of applied sciences gathered to address various activities and responsibilities of the Conference and to elect a new president.

Recognizing his years of experience and dedication, our Dean Assist. Prof. PhD. Željko Sudarić, prof. of profess. stud., was elected as the President of the Croatian Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences.

The representatives acknowledged Dean Sudarić’s vision for further improving the quality of education and enhancing the role of universities of applied sciences as essential sources of knowledge and innovation in Croatia. His leadership was entrusted to guide the Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences.

This is a significant honor for our University, the city of Vukovar, Vukovar-Srijem County, and Dean Sudarić. We are confident that he will rise to the challenges of leading the Conference, just as he has successfully led our Conference for years.

We wish him great success in achieving his goals to elevate the role of Croatian universities of applied sciences in education to the important place they deserve.
