The Vukovar City Library and the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar have, to their mutual satisfaction, signed a Cooperation Agreement on March 18, 2025, at the university library premises.

Through this agreement, both institutions have committed to developing cooperation based on mutual interest, with a particular focus on organizing workshops, book promotions, conferences, round tables, and various educational programs. They will also collaborate on projects funded by the EU or other institutions and organizations, engage in library and information activities, and jointly participate in promotional efforts whenever an opportunity arises.

The University of Applied Sciences has been operating in its new building in Borovo Naselje for a year now and continuously strives to foster local community development. This agreement will further strengthen its collaboration with the Vukovar City Library, Borovo Naselje Branch, by providing joint access to knowledge, information, and cultural content to support education, professional development, and lifelong learning.

The Cooperation Agreement was signed on behalf of the Vukovar City Library by Library Director Anita Baier Jakovac, prof. et mag. bibl., accompanied by Jelena Markov, mag. inf. et mag. bibl., Head of the Borovo Naselje Branch. Representing the University of Applied Sciences, the agreement was signed by Dean Assist. Prof. Željko Sudarić, PhD, prof. of professional studies, along with the university library head, Tatjana Ivić Lovrinović, mag. educ. philol. croat. et mag. bibl.
