On April 14, 2025, in the premises of the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar, the President of the Humanitarian Association Duga Vukovar, Tamara Mikulić, signed a Cooperation Agreement with our University, represented by the Dean, Assist. Prof. Željko Sudarić, PhD, prof. of professional studies.

This is yet another cooperation agreement that will enable the implementation of numerous programs, increase the number of partnerships, and strengthen existing collaborations, which we are especially looking forward to.

The University VEVU is committed to educating and training highly qualified professionals in the fields of its study programs, while the Duga Association contributes to the promotion and protection of human rights, with a particular focus on the social and health status of individuals and social groups (such as the poor, the ill, the elderly, etc.). Therefore, we believe that this agreement will bring many benefits to the local community in which we operate.

The contracting parties, the Duga Association and the University VEVU, have agreed to develop cooperation of mutual interest, with a special focus on organizing workshops, conferences, educational programs, cooperating on projects, directing their activities toward prevention, diagnostics, and rehabilitation, utilizing personnel for providing expert opinions, and providing an additional place where students of the Polytechnic can apply both theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during their studies.
