By signing two new contracts for equipping the fitness gym and procuring equipment for physical therapy, the process of interior furnishing of the Radnički Dom building continues. The contracts were signed by the Mayor of Vukovar, Ivan Penava, and representatives of the selected bidders, Fitnes oprema d.o.o. and Media d.o.o. from Zagreb. Representing the University at the signing were the Vice Dean for Business Operations and Cooperation with Businesses, Assist. Prof. Slobodan Stojanović, Ph.D., prof. of profess. stud., and a member of the University’s Council and the Head of the Student Sports Association SUSVEVU, Dražen Pejić, mag. cin., senior lecturer. The total value of the contracts is 129,370 EUR including VAT, the completion deadline is three months, and the financial resources were provided by the Fund for Development and Renewal of City of Vukovar.

By signing these two contracts, the process of contracting the entire interior furnishing of the Radnički Dom building (furniture procurement, computer equipment, fitness and physical therapy equipment) has been completed. After the realization of all contracted tasks and completion of the furnishing, the University will soon relocate to this new location. The relocation of the University to the new, modernly equipped premises will represent a significant improvement in student standards and the enhancement of the existing studying conditions in Vukovar, especially concerning the possibilities for developing and launching new study programs at the University. After the completion of the furnishing, the University will undertake all necessary activities to relocate students and staff and commence teaching and other activities as soon as possible at the new location.
