On Tuesday, June 10, a ceremonial session of the Croatian Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences was held, hosted by the University of Applied Sciences \u201cMarko Maruli\u0107\u201d in Knin. On this occasion, special annual awards and recognitions of the Conference were presented.<\/p>\n

The highest recognition, the Golden Plaque of the Conference, was awarded to Assoc. Prof. Damir Jugo, PhD, prof. of professional studies, on the proposal of the President of the Council of Croatian Conference and Dean of our University, Assist. Prof. \u017deljko Sudari\u0107, PhD, prof. of professional studies**.<\/p>\n

The Charter of the Croatian Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences for contribution to the development of professional studies in the republic of Croatia was awarded to Prof. \u0110uro Horvat, PhD, prof. of professional studies, on the proposal of EFFECTUS University of Applied Sciences.<\/p>\n

Charters of the Council for special contribution to the development of professional and teaching activities were also awarded. This year, the recipients were: Assist. Prof. Mile Marin\u010di\u0107, PhD, prof. of professional studies, for contributions in the field of humanities, proposed by Ivani\u0107-Grad University of Applied Sciences; Assoc. Prof. Bojan Bio\u010dina, PhD, prof. of professional studies, for contributions in the field of biomedicine and health, proposed by the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb; Prof. Antun Alegro, PhD, prof. of professional studies, for contributions in the field of biomedicine and health, proposed by Karlovac University of Applied Sciences; and Assoc. Prof. Ante Orlovi\u0107, PhD, prof. of professional studies, for contributions in the field of social sciences, proposed by the University of Applied Sciences of Criminal Justice and Public Safety.<\/p>\n

At the ceremonial session in Knin, alongside the heads of all universities of applied sciences in the Republic of Croatia and student representatives, participants included Ms. Dijana Mandi\u0107, Director of the Directorate for Higher Education, as the envoy of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenkovi\u0107, Marijo \u0106a\u0107i\u0107, Mayor of the City of Knin, Nenad Tisaj, Deputy Prefect of \u0160ibenik-Knin County, Haris Pavleti\u0107, President of the Croatian Academic Sports Federation, and Marko Baruk\u010di\u0107, President of the Student Council of Croatian Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences and a student of our university.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
