Today, in our VEVU Alumni section, we talked to our Robert Kr\u010dmar, a bachelor of physiotherapy. In the interview, Robert answered a few questions and sent a powerful message to current and future students of the VEVU.<\/p>\n
Tell us about your career and where you have worked after completing your studies…<\/em><\/p>\n After finishing my studies, I started volunteering at NK Slaven Belupo and received an internship at the hospital, where I worked both jobs until completing the internship. Afterward, I received my first contract at Belupo and started working privately. Two years later, I became the head physiotherapist at NK Slaven Belupo and opened my studio. After five years at Belupo, I went to Italy and Greece, where I worked privately with players from those leagues. The players I worked with played for Panathinaikos, Frosinone, Lecce, CSKA Moscow. At the same time, I received a call-up for our U21 national football team, which I gladly accepted. At the end of 2022, I received a call from coach Tomislav Stipi\u0107 to join FC Riga, which seemed like a very interesting project, so I spent one season there. After that, I received a call from the current staff led by coach Slaven Bili\u0107, who manages Al Fateh club in Saudi Arabia. I accepted the call and still work at the club. Alongside club work, I completed several additional educations, crucial for further professional development, including Kaltenborn\/Evjenth Concept, NKT \u2013 Neurokinetic Therapy, Osteopathic Manipulation, DNS \u2013 Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Dry Needling, Stecco, and others.<\/p>\n Activities you engaged in during your studies…<\/em><\/p>\n Sport, especially football, has always been a part of me, starting from when I played at Slaven Belupo to when I came to Vukovar. I played both outdoor and indoor (futsal) football. We had an excellent VEVU futsal team with whom we achieved previously unthinkable results (including at the European Championship in Portugal). Prof. Dra\u017een Peji\u0107 was definitely one of those responsible for that result, fighting for us, and besides, there was an excellent atmosphere in the team that gave us strength, enjoyment, and motivation to continue. Through sports, friendships are created that last a lifetime, so I would recommend everyone to engage in some form of such activity.<\/p>\n Message for current and future students…<\/em><\/p>\n VEVU University will provide you with everything you need to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for your future work; studies are the foundation you will build upon in further education throughout your life. In addition to knowledge, people at VEVU will provide you with warmth and assistance, which is crucial for those coming from other cities and provides you with security. Be persistent, and don’t stop believing in yourself; feel free to make mistakes, but still believe that you can achieve everything you fight for.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
