Welcome to the website of the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ru\u017ei\u010dka” in Vukovar.<\/p>\n
The University of Applied Sciences is a place of knowledge, learning, and professional development, but above all, a community of people. Our goal is to provide students with a high-quality and modern education that bridges professional knowledge with its practical application, preparing them for responsible and independent work in society and the professional world.<\/p>\n
The student is at the center of everything we do. That is why we strive to create a stimulating and inclusive academic environment where students, alongside acquiring knowledge and professional competencies, have the opportunity to develop their interests, ideas, and potential. Practical training, mobility, participation in projects, student initiatives, sports, and other activities form an essential part of the studying experience and personal growth.<\/p>\n
At the same time, the University of Applied Sciences develops alongside the environment in which it operates. We continuously aim to improve our study programs and methods by listening to the needs of students, professions, employers, and society. Collaboration with institutions, the economy, and other partners enables us to connect education with practice, exchange knowledge, and create new opportunities for our students.<\/p>\n
A special place in our identity belongs to Vukovar and the Vukovar-Srijem County. The city and county in which we operate are not merely our seat, but the space to which we belong and to whose development we wish to contribute through knowledge, expertise, and an openness to collaboration. Simultaneously, we aim to be a University of Applied Sciences open to Croatia, Europe, and the world, promoting international cooperation, mobility, and the exchange of experiences.<\/p>\n
Ahead of us lies a time of new opportunities, as well as changes that demand adaptability, responsibility, and a readiness for continuous learning from higher education. Therefore, we want to develop the University of Applied Sciences as a modern, open, and recognizable institution that preserves what is valuable, while having the courage to change and create anew. Such development includes enhancing the quality of studies, practical training, and student standards, strengthening international cooperation, and responsibly using the opportunities brought by digital transformation and new technologies.<\/p>\n
On this path, the contribution of every member of our academic community is vital. I believe in a University of Applied Sciences where we engage in dialogue, collaborate, share knowledge, and together build a space where good ideas can be turned into concrete results.<\/p>\n
Our success is measured not only by what we accomplish as an institution, but above all by the knowledge, competencies, and experiences our students take with them.<\/p>\n
I would like to thank everyone who is already part of the University of Applied Sciences for their contribution to our community, and I invite future students, partners, and collaborators to get to know us and become part of the story we continue to build together.<\/p>\n
